The therapeutic team

I am Daniel Tamir, a social worker (M.S.W.) and a sailing therapist and the manager of the 'In One Boat' center.

In the past I've coordinate the Anchor for Life program— a prevention program for at-risk youth through sailing.
I was a sailing instructor at the Sailing Club Haifa, teaching basic seamanship and fostering social values among children.
I co-founded Migdalor Pre-Military Academy, a preparatory program for at-risk youth that utilizes the sea as an educational and rehabilitative tool.
I've worked in 'Ne'urim', a Parent and Adolescent Center in Holon as a therapist.

I have been sailing for over 30 years, serving as a naval officer and commander of a patrol boat in the Israeli Navy. I am a graduate of the Naval Officer Course and conduct resilience training and workshops for cadets in the same course.

I am Elad Shaami, a Social Worker (M.S.W.) and a Sailing Therapist.
I have been working with children and adolescents since 2010; managing the personal journey program in the One-on-One initiative; a social worker for the younger age group at the Mekamrot Youth Village; counseling and guiding youth before military service; a reserve mental health officer and a commander in the Paratroopers Brigade.

I am a surfer, paddleboarding, diving, and sailing on dinghies, and generally connected to nature and the sea.

I am Daniel Spencer, a Social Worker (.M.S.W.) and a Sailing Therapist.
I've worked as an emotional therapist at 'Urim'—a center for parents and children; co-founder of the 'Sea- Heart' project, integrating children with disabilities in water sports;
a lead instructor at 'My Wave' association; with over 20 years of deep experience in various water sports including surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, paddleboarding, sailing on different sailing vessels, free diving, and scuba diving.
I served as a fighter in the navy commando, guiding trainees through various stages, a certified diving instructor accredited by the Israeli Diving Association.

I am Maya Kahana- Sender, a Marine Group Facilitator (M.A.).
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Sciences 
I have been involved in group facilitation since 2017, guiding service year trainees; leading volleyball and soccer groups for girls; and serving as an environmental marine guide for the Ecocean association.
I am a skipper, Dive Master, surfer, paddleboarder, and former soccer player. I have been sailing since 2004, serving as a naval medic in the Navy Officer Course and a skipper of yachts around the world.

"The sea for me is a connection to the child within me—full of curiosity, freedom, joy, and constant movement".

Maya Kahana- Sender- M.A. Marine Group Therapy Facilitator
I am Avigail Shmuel, a Social Worker (B.S.W.) and a Sailing Therapist.
I am a skipper and marine group facilitator at the 'Atgarim' association for people with mental health challenges and their families. I also lead groups for at-risk adolescents and those on the autism spectrum.
In the army, I served as a soldier and officer in intelligence. Today, I work with children and adolescents on the sea, conducting group therapy and guiding parents.
I sail on dinghies and motorboats, paddleboard, and kayak.

"The sea for me is a space for breathing, flowing, and expanding. It’s always changing, and so am I".
